Here are the requirements at this point for the short story: - horror genre - three paragraphs - minimum number of characters - must occur in one setting during one day - must contain one original superstition that she created (if you do ______, ______ will happen) - 2 examples of figurative language ( onomatopoeia, personification, metaphor, simile, etc.) - use sensory language to show not tell Only the draft needs to be completed at this stage. Students will be sharing their drafts tomorrow in a spooky setting! We will then be working to add other elements and expand the assignment into a myth.
